Cyberbond Apollo 2008 Instant Rubber Adhesive – 20g
Cyberbond Apollo 2008 is a professional-grade, fast-setting cyanoacrylate adhesive specifically formulated for bonding rubber. This is the adhesive we recommend for weatherstrip assembly, joining cut rubber ends, and installing applicable cement-on rubber components.
We use and recommend Apollo 2008 because its low-viscosity formula creates a fast, strong bond without requiring a thick layer of adhesive. It is particularly useful when joining the ends of cut-to-fit weatherstripping or bonding rubber profiles where a quick, clean joint is required.
This is also our recommended adhesive for installing the replacement rubber strips onto applicable Volkswagen drip rail / rain gutter trim assemblies.

Application: Surfaces should be clean, dry, and free of oil, grease, silicone, old adhesive, and other contamination. Apply a small amount of adhesive to one bonding surface, position the parts carefully, and hold them together until the initial bond is established.
Because Apollo 2008 is an extremely fast-setting adhesive, test-fit and position all components before applying adhesive. Only a small amount is normally required.
Important: This is an instant cyanoacrylate adhesive. Avoid contact with skin and eyes and use in a well-ventilated area. Always test compatibility when working with an unknown rubber, plastic, painted, or finished surface.
For weatherstrip installation, this adhesive should only be used where a fast, rigid rubber bond is appropriate. It is not a substitute for conventional flexible weatherstrip adhesive in applications requiring a large bonded surface area or significant movement between the bonded components.
