1970-1973 Datsun 240Z Tail Light Gasket Pair
Reproduction tail light gasket pair for 1970-1973 Datsun 240Z models. This complete set includes one LH driver-side and one RH passenger-side gasket for both rear tail light assemblies.
These molded rubber gaskets install between the tail light housings and the rear body panel, creating a seal around each tail light assembly. Properly sealing this area helps prevent water, dust, debris, and exhaust fumes from entering the rear cargo and passenger compartment.
Original 240Z tail light gaskets commonly become hardened, cracked, compressed, shrunken, or torn after decades of exposure. Once the rubber loses its ability to seal against the body, water can enter around the tail light openings and contribute to moisture and corrosion in the rear body structure. Poorly sealed tail light housings can also provide a path for exhaust fumes to enter the cabin.
