1968-1970 Datsun Roadster 1600 2000 Front Windshield Glass Seal – OEM Style
OEM-style front windshield glass weatherstrip for 1968-1970 Datsun Roadster 1600 and 2000 models equipped with the late / tall windshield.
This molded windshield gasket installs around the perimeter of the front windshield glass and seals the glass into the windshield frame. The exterior profile is designed for use with the original-style chrome windshield trim, allowing the factory molding to be retained during restoration.
Datsun changed the Roadster windshield configuration during the 1967 model year, with later cars receiving the taller windshield and windshield frame. This seal is specifically designed for that later high-windshield configuration.
Original windshield gaskets commonly become hardened, cracked, shrunken, brittle, or deteriorated after decades of exposure to sunlight and weather. A failed windshield seal can contribute to water intrusion, wind noise, drafts, and deterioration around the windshield frame.
This reproduction restores the seal between the windshield glass and frame while retaining the original-style chrome windshield trim.

Important: This windshield seal is for the late / tall-windshield Roadster configuration.
It does NOT fit the earlier low-windshield Datsun Roadster models, which use a different windshield, windshield frame, and sealing system.
This is the weatherstrip that installs around the windshield glass itself and seals the glass into the windshield frame.
