Replacement engine wiring harness firewall grommet for 1965-1970 Datsun Roadster models.
This molded rubber grommet installs where the engine-room wiring harness passes through the body / firewall, supporting the wiring harness while protecting it from contact with the surrounding sheet metal.
Original grommets commonly become hardened, cracked, torn, deteriorated, or missing after decades of exposure to engine heat and age.

Important:
This is the rubber grommet used primarily for the engine-room wiring harness.
It should not be confused with the choke cable grommet, tachometer or speedometer cable grommets, RH heater hose grommet, or other firewall grommets used on the Roadster.
