Replacement trunk hinge rubber bump stop pair for 1963-1970 Datsun Fairlady and Roadster models.
These small molded rubber bumpers install at the trunk hinge mechanism and cushion the hinges as the trunk lid reaches its fully open position.
Original bump stops commonly become hardened, cracked, deteriorated, or missing after decades of use, allowing the trunk hinge mechanism to contact its stop without the original rubber cushioning.

Important:
These are the small rubber bump stops used at the trunk hinge mechanism.
They should not be confused with trunk lid weatherstripping or other body and trunk adjustment bumpers.
For easier installation, a small amount of rubber-safe lubricant may be applied before carefully pulling or pushing the retaining portion through the mounting hole.
