Replacement horn button rubber O-ring / spring for 1963-1967.5 Datsun Fairlady and Roadster models.
This molded rubber ring installs inside the original steering wheel horn button assembly. It acts as an insulator and flexible spring between the horn button components, allowing the horn contacts to operate correctly when the horn button is pressed.
Original rings commonly become hardened, flattened, cracked, deteriorated, or completely missing after decades of use.

Important:
This is the rubber O-ring / spring used inside the original horn button assembly.
It is not simply a decorative horn button gasket. The rubber ring provides insulation and spring action within the horn button mechanism.
Not for 1968-1970 Roadster horn buttons. Later high-windshield models use a different horn button O-ring / finishing ring design.
Horn button, steering wheel, contacts, and other hardware are not included.
