This molded rubber seal installs at the base of the exterior door mirror, providing a protective barrier between the mirror assembly and the painted body surface.
Original mirror base seals commonly become hardened, cracked, compressed, deteriorated, or missing after decades of exposure to sunlight and weather.

This is the late-style mirror base seal used on 1968-1970 Roadster models.
Earlier 1963-1967 Fairlady / Roadster models use a different exterior mirror base gasket.
