1963-1967.5 Datsun Roadster Windshield Frame-to-Body Seal – 148-Inch Cut-to-Fit
Replacement windshield frame-to-body weatherstrip for early 1963-1967.5 Datsun Roadster / Fairlady models equipped with the low windshield configuration.
This weatherstrip installs between the windshield frame assembly and the vehicle body, providing the seal around the windshield frame where it meets the body. It is separate from the windshield glass gasket that actually retains the windshield glass inside the frame.
The seal is supplied as one continuous 148-inch length, providing enough material to complete the windshield frame-to-body sealing area. The weatherstrip is trimmed to the required final length during installation.
Original Roadster windshield-frame weatherstripping commonly becomes hardened, cracked, compressed, shrunken, brittle, or deteriorated after decades of exposure. A failed seal can allow water, wind, and outside debris to enter around the windshield frame and may contribute to corrosion in the windshield mounting and cowl areas.
Replacing the deteriorated frame-to-body weatherstrip helps restore the weather seal around the early Roadster windshield assembly.

Important: This is the windshield FRAME-TO-BODY weatherstrip for early / low-windshield Roadsters.
This is NOT the windshield glass gasket that surrounds and retains the windshield glass inside the windshield frame.
The windshield glass gasket is a separate component.
This product should also not be confused with the separate LH and RH windshield side-post seals.
This weatherstrip is supplied as one continuous 148-inch length and must be measured, test-fitted, and trimmed as required during installation.
This product is intended for the early / low-windshield configuration and does not fit the later tall/high-windshield Roadster configuration.
