Replacement rear wiper arm / wiper shaft sealing gasket for select Volkswagen Mk1 applications.
This rubber gasket installs at the rear wiper shaft where the wiper assembly passes through the rear hatch. It helps seal the opening against water and debris while providing the proper cushion between the wiper mounting hardware and surrounding surface.
Original gaskets commonly become hardened, cracked, compressed, or missing after decades of exposure. Replacement is recommended whenever servicing or removing the rear wiper assembly.
