Replacement license plate holder seal for Volkswagen MK1 Cabriolet / Rabbit Convertible models.
This seal installs between the rear license plate holder and the vehicle body, replacing the original rubber seal that commonly becomes hardened, cracked, compressed, or deteriorated after decades of exposure to the elements.
A deteriorated or missing seal can allow moisture, dirt, and debris to collect behind the license plate holder and against the painted body surface. Replacing the seal helps restore the original installation and provides proper isolation between the license plate holder and body.
