Replacement RH passenger-side main door weatherstrip for 1984-1993 Volkswagen Golf MK1 Cabriolet models, including U.S.-market Volkswagen Cabriolet.
This molded door weatherstrip installs around the passenger-side door opening and provides the primary seal between the door and body when the door is closed. The seal follows the Cabriolet-specific door opening and is designed specifically for the unique convertible body configuration.
Original door weatherstripping commonly becomes hardened, cracked, torn, compressed, or shrunken after decades of use. A deteriorated door seal can contribute to water intrusion, increased wind noise, drafts, dirt intrusion, and poor sealing around the door opening.
This is the later-style RH door weatherstrip used on Golf MK1 Cabriolet models beginning with approximately the 1984 model year.

Important: This is the RH passenger-side main door weatherstrip for the later Golf MK1 Cabriolet door-seal configuration.
Earlier Golf MK1 Cabriolet / Rabbit Convertible models originally used a different early-style door weatherstrip, OEM / OE reference 155 837 912 C.
The corresponding later LH driver-side main door weatherstrip is OEM / OE reference 155 837 911 E.
This main door weatherstrip is separate from the B-pillar seal, glass-to-top seals, and the small rear door corner seals used on later Cabriolet models.
