Replacement driver-side rear door corner seal for 1988-1993 Volkswagen Cabriolet models.
This molded rubber corner seal installs at the rear upper corner of the driver door and forms an important part of the Cabriolet's door glass and convertible top sealing system. It provides the proper transition between the door, side glass, and surrounding convertible top sealing surfaces to help prevent water intrusion and excessive wind noise.
Original door corner seals commonly become hardened, cracked, compressed, torn, or deteriorated after decades of exposure. Replacing a damaged or missing seal helps restore proper sealing around the rear corner of the door glass.
Designed as a direct replacement for the original late-style Volkswagen Cabriolet driver-side corner seal.

Important: 1988 is a production split year. This late-style B-version seal fits vehicles from VIN 15-J-018001 onward. Earlier vehicles through VIN 15-J-018000 use the early-style 155 837 915 A corner seal.
