Replacement RH passenger-side B-pillar / main-pillar weatherstrip for 1979-1993 Volkswagen Golf MK1 Cabriolet models, including U.S.-market Rabbit Convertible and Cabriolet.
This molded weatherstrip installs along the passenger-side center support / B-pillar area at the rear of the door opening. The seal forms part of the weather sealing between the door opening, body, and rear side window area while also serving as part of the rear window guide.
Original B-pillar seals commonly become hardened, cracked, torn, compressed, or deteriorated after decades of exposure to sunlight and weather. Damage to this seal can contribute to increased wind noise, water intrusion, drafts, poor sealing around the rear of the door opening, and improper guidance or sealing of the rear side glass.
This reproduction restores the molded rubber sealing surface along the RH B-pillar and is designed specifically for the Golf MK1 Cabriolet body.

Important: This is the RH passenger-side B-pillar / main-pillar seal located at the rear of the door opening.
This seal performs more than one function. It forms part of the weather sealing around the door opening while also serving as part of the guide and sealing surface for the rear side window.
It is not the main door perimeter weatherstrip, convertible top glass seal, or small C-post corner seal.
