Replacement LH and RH A-pillar seal / molding pair for 1979-1993 Volkswagen Golf MK1 Cabriolet models, including U.S.-market Rabbit Convertible and Cabriolet.
These pieces install along the outer windshield A-pillars between the windshield area and the front of the door openings. The A-pillar moldings form the finished outer edge of the windshield pillars and act as wind deflectors along the sides of the windshield.
Original A-pillar pieces commonly become hardened, cracked, distorted, faded, damaged, or missing after decades of exposure to sunlight and weather. Replacement restores the finished appearance along both sides of the windshield and replaces deteriorated original pillar moldings.
This complete pair includes both the driver and passenger sides.

Important: These are the exterior A-pillar / windshield-pillar molding and sealing pieces located along the sides of the windshield between the windshield and front door openings.
They are not the windshield glass weatherstrip, main door perimeter seals, convertible top header bow seal, or convertible top glass-to-top seals.
Replacement A-pillar moldings may require careful trimming and fitting during installation. Always test-fit and establish the final position of each piece before trimming or permanently installing it.
