1979-1993 VW Golf MK1 Cabriolet / Rabbit Convertible Pivoting Vent Window Seal Pair
Replacement LH and RH front pivoting vent window / triangle glass seals for 1979-1993 Volkswagen Golf MK1 Cabriolet models, including U.S.-market Rabbit Convertible and Cabriolet.
These molded seals install around the small opening vent windows located at the front of the driver and passenger doors. Unlike the fixed front quarter glass used on many standard Golf / Rabbit MK1 models, the Cabriolet uses opening vent windows with dedicated frames and sealing components.
The seals surround the pivoting vent glass and provide the weather sealing surface between the vent window assembly and frame. Original seals commonly become hardened, cracked, shrunken, torn, or distorted after decades of exposure to sunlight and weather, resulting in wind noise, drafts, water intrusion, and poor sealing around the vent glass.
This kit includes both the LH driver-side and RH passenger-side seals for a complete vehicle.

Important: These seals are designed for the opening / pivoting front vent windows used on Golf MK1 Cabriolet and Rabbit Convertible models.
They are not the same as the fixed front quarter / triangle window seals used on standard Golf / Rabbit MK1 sedan and hatchback applications.
The original vent window frames, glass, pivot hardware, latches, and related hardware are not included. This kit includes the rubber vent window seals only.
Carefully inspect the original vent window frames and pivot hardware during installation. Corrosion, bent frames, worn pivots, or improperly adjusted vent windows can prevent the new seals from seating and sealing correctly.
