Replacement rubber door bumper for 1988-1998 Chevrolet and GMC GMT400 trucks.
This molded rubber bumper installs on the lower portion of the door and provides a cushioned contact point between the door and body when closed. Original door bumpers commonly become hardened, cracked, compressed, damaged, or completely missing after decades of use.
Replacing worn or missing door bumpers helps restore proper door support, reduces unwanted movement and rattles, and prevents unnecessary impact when the door is closed.

Installation Note:
The bumper uses a push-in mounting design. Remove any remaining pieces of the original bumper and clean the mounting hole before installation. A small amount of rubber-safe lubricant can be used to assist installation if necessary.
