Datsun 240Z / 260Z / 280Z Door Bumper – 1970-1976
Replacement rubber door bumper for 1970-1976 Datsun 240Z, 260Z, and early 280Z (S30) models.
This molded rubber bumper installs in the lower rear area of the door jamb and provides a cushioned contact point for the door when closed. Original bumpers commonly become hardened, cracked, compressed, damaged, or completely missing after decades of use.
Replacing worn or missing door bumpers helps properly cushion the door when closed while reducing unwanted movement, vibration, rattles, and metal-to-metal contact.

Important: This is the early-style S30 door bumper. Later 1977-1978 Datsun 280Z models use a different door bumper.
Installation Note:
Remove any remaining pieces of the original bumper and clean the mounting hole before installation. A small amount of rubber-safe lubricant can be used on the push-in portion to ease installation and reduce the possibility of damaging the new bumper.
Due to the original push-in design, a small amount of suitable weatherstrip adhesive may also be used if additional retention is necessary.
