1970-1978 Datsun 240Z 260Z 280Z Lower Door Seal Pair
Replacement lower door weatherstrip pair for Datsun 240Z, 260Z, and 280Z models. This kit includes two lower door seals, providing one seal for the LH driver-side door and one for the RH passenger-side door.
These weatherstrips attach directly to the lower portion of the doors and form part of the S30's multi-piece door sealing system. They work together with the main body-mounted door opening weatherstrips and other door-mounted seals to help prevent water, wind, dust, and outside debris from entering the passenger compartment.
Original lower door seals commonly become hardened, cracked, torn, compressed, or completely missing after decades of use. Because of their location along the bottom of the doors, they are also exposed to water, dirt, road debris, and repeated compression every time the doors are opened and closed.
Replacing both lower door seals restores an important part of the original S30 door weather sealing system and is recommended during a complete weatherstrip restoration, repaint, or door restoration.

Important: These seals attach directly to the lower portion of the doors.
They should not be confused with the main body-mounted door opening weatherstrips that surround the door openings.
The S30 uses several separate weatherstrips around each door, including the main body-mounted door seal, lower door seal, door-to-fender seal, upper/corner seals, window scrapers, and glass run channels.
The same lower door seal is used on both the LH and RH sides.
