1968-1973 Datsun 510 Sedan Trunk Lid Weatherstrip – 13 Foot Cut-to-Fit
Aftermarket replacement trunk lid weatherstrip for 1968-1973 Datsun 510 2-door and 4-door Sedan models. Supplied as one continuous 13-foot length, this replacement weatherstrip is designed to be trimmed to the required length and joined during installation.
The weatherstrip installs around the trunk opening and seals against the trunk lid when closed. It provides the primary perimeter seal between the trunk lid and body, helping prevent water, dust, debris, and outside air from entering the luggage compartment.
Original 510 trunk weatherstripping commonly becomes hardened, cracked, compressed, torn, shrunken, or permanently flattened after decades of use. A deteriorated trunk seal can contribute to water leaks, moisture accumulation, dust intrusion, wind noise, and corrosion inside the trunk and around the trunk opening.
This aftermarket replacement uses a continuous weatherstrip profile supplied in an extended 13-foot length, allowing the seal to be test-fitted and trimmed to the required final length during installation.

Important: This is an aftermarket cut-to-fit replacement weatherstrip. It is not a molded or pre-cut genuine Nissan/Datsun trunk seal.
The weatherstrip is supplied as one continuous 13-foot length and must be test-fitted and trimmed to the required final length during installation.
After determining the correct length, the two ends of the weatherstrip must be cemented together to form the complete trunk perimeter seal.
We recommend positioning the joined ends in an inconspicuous location and confirming the complete fit before making the final cut.
This product fits 510 Sedan models only. It does NOT fit the 510 Wagon, which uses a rear hatch and a completely different hatch weatherstrip arrangement.
