Datsun 510 / 1600 Hood to Cowl Firewall Seal – 1968-1973
Replacement hood-to-cowl / firewall weatherstrip for the 1968-1973 Datsun 510 / Bluebird 1600.
This seal installs along the rear edge of the engine compartment between the hood and cowl/firewall area. It helps seal the rear of the engine bay and reduce the amount of water, dirt, debris, engine-compartment fumes, and heat entering the cowl area.
Original seals are commonly hardened, cracked, deteriorated, or completely missing after decades of use.
