1968-1973 Datsun 510 Wagon Rear Hatch-to-Body Weatherstrip Seal
Replacement rear hatch-to-body weatherstrip for 1968-1973 Datsun 510 Wagon models.
This weatherstrip installs around the rear hatch opening and creates the primary seal between the rear hatch door and the body of the wagon. It helps prevent water, wind, dust, exhaust fumes, and outside debris from entering the rear cargo area when the hatch is closed.
Original hatch weatherstripping commonly becomes hardened, compressed, cracked, torn, or shrunken after decades of use. A deteriorated hatch seal can contribute to water leaks, wind noise, rattles, dust intrusion, and exhaust odors entering the passenger and cargo areas.
This replacement weatherstrip is supplied in a continuous length and is trimmed to fit during installation. Two lengths are available depending on the configuration of the vehicle.

14 ft — For vehicles without the OEM rear luggage / impact strip

Important: This is the rear hatch-to-body weatherstrip that installs around the hatch opening.
It is NOT the rear hatch glass seal. The rear hatch glass weatherstrip that holds and seals the glass inside the hatch is a separate component.
Choose the 11.5 ft version when retaining the OEM rear luggage / impact strip.
Choose the 14 ft version when the OEM rear luggage / impact strip is not being used and additional weatherstrip length is required around the hatch opening.
The weatherstrip is supplied longer than required and must be measured, test-fitted, trimmed, and joined during installation. Do not cut the weatherstrip to final length before test-fitting it to the vehicle.
Weatherstrip adhesive may be required in certain areas to properly retain and finish the seal.
