Replacement transmission shift boot for 1967.5 Datsun Roadster 1600 and 2000 models.
This molded rubber boot installs around the transmission shift lever and helps seal the shifter opening from heat, dirt, fumes, and debris entering the passenger compartment.
Designed for the unique 1967.5 Roadster shifter arrangement, this boot replaces the original rubber that commonly becomes hardened, cracked, torn, deteriorated, or missing after decades of use.

Important:
This is the 1967.5-style transmission shift boot.
Earlier 1965-1967 Roadster 1600 models originally used a different accordion-style rubber shift boot. The 1967.5-style boot can be adapted to some earlier cars, but additional mounting or trim changes may be required and it is not the factory-original configuration for those models.
1968-1970 Roadsters use a different later-style lower transmission shift boot.
