Replacement early-style transmission shift boot for Datsun Fairlady 1500 / SPL310 Roadster models.
This molded rubber boot installs around the transmission shift lever at the transmission tunnel, helping close the opening around the shifter and reduce heat, dirt, dust, fumes, and debris entering the passenger compartment.
The original rubber commonly becomes hardened, cracked, split, torn, or completely deteriorated after decades of use.

Later Roadster models use different transmission shift boot configurations and are not interchangeable with this early-style boot.
