Product Description
1985-1992 VW Golf GTI Mk2 Rear Quarter Window Seal – LH Driver Side – OEM Trim
Replacement LH driver-side rear quarter window weatherstrip for 1985-1992 Volkswagen Golf Mk2 and GTI Mk2 2-door models. This seal is designed for vehicles retaining the original-style exterior quarter window trim.
The rear quarter window seal installs around the fixed side glass located behind the driver-side door and seals the glass into the body opening. It provides the weatherproof connection between the fixed quarter glass and vehicle body while also providing the correct provision for the original exterior trim.
Original Mk2 quarter window seals commonly become hardened, cracked, shrunken, brittle, or deteriorated after decades of exposure to sunlight and weather. Deteriorated seals can contribute to water intrusion, wind noise, loose exterior trim, and corrosion around the quarter window opening.
This replacement restores the seal around the LH rear quarter glass while allowing the original-style exterior trim to be retained.

Important: This is the LH driver-side rear quarter window seal for Golf Mk2 / GTI Mk2 2-door models.
This seal is designed for use with the original-style exterior quarter window trim.
The original trim is reused and is not included with the weatherstrip.
This is NOT the plain CAL-style / no-trim quarter window seal. Volkswagen used a different seal on vehicles without exterior quarter window molding.
This product does NOT fit 4-door Golf models. On 4-door models, the rear side glass is incorporated into the rear door assembly rather than using the large fixed quarter glass found on the 2-door body.
The matching RH passenger-side rear quarter window seal is sold separately.
