1975-1984 VW Rabbit / Golf Mk1 Rear Quarter Window Seal – RH Passenger Side – Smooth
Reproduction RH passenger-side rear quarter window seal for 1975-1984 Volkswagen Rabbit and Golf Mk1 2-door / 3-door models. This is the smooth, non-trim version designed for vehicles not using the factory chrome quarter-window molding.
The seal installs around the fixed rear side glass located behind the passenger door, securing the glass into the body opening while providing a weather-resistant seal between the glass and body.
Original quarter window seals commonly become hardened, cracked, shrunken, brittle, or deteriorated after decades of exposure to sunlight and weather. A failed quarter window gasket can allow water, wind, dust, and outside debris to enter around the glass and may contribute to corrosion around the window opening.
This reproduction restores the seal around the RH rear quarter glass while providing the clean, smooth black appearance used on vehicles without the decorative chrome window trim.

Important: This is the RH passenger-side rear quarter window seal.
This seal is designed for the fixed rear quarter glass behind the passenger door on 2-door / 3-door Rabbit and Golf Mk1 models. It does NOT fit 4-door models.
This is the smooth / non-trim version and does NOT have the groove required for the factory chrome quarter-window molding.
The factory chrome molding is not used with this seal.
For vehicles retaining the original chrome quarter-window trim, use the separate trim-groove version.
The matching LH driver-side rear quarter window seal is sold separately.
