1980-1992 VW Rabbit Pickup / Caddy Mk1 Outer Window Scraper – LH Driver Side
Replacement LH driver-side outer door window scraper for Volkswagen Rabbit Pickup and Caddy Mk1 models.
This scraper installs along the outside upper edge of the driver-side door where the roll-up door glass enters the door shell. The scraper rides against the exterior surface of the glass as the window is raised and lowered, helping wipe water from the glass and reduce the amount of water, dirt, dust, and debris entering the inside of the door.
Original window scrapers commonly become hardened, cracked, warped, shrunken, or brittle after decades of exposure to sunlight and weather. As the scraper deteriorates, it may pull away from the glass, allow excessive water and debris into the door, create wind noise, or leave an unfinished appearance along the upper edge of the door.
This replacement restores the exterior beltline seal along the driver-side roll-up window and is a direct replacement for the LH outer scraper position.

Important: This is the LH driver-side OUTER window scraper.
It installs on the outside of the driver-side roll-up door glass along the upper edge of the door.
This is NOT the inner scraper located on the passenger-compartment side of the glass.
For a complete vehicle, four scraper positions are used:
