Product Description
1980-1992 VW Rabbit Pickup / Caddy Mk1 Rear Window Seal – CAL Style
CAL-style rear cab window weatherstrip for Volkswagen Rabbit Pickup and Caddy Mk1 models. This molded rear window seal fits both fixed rear glass and sliding rear window assemblies.
The weatherstrip installs around the rear cab window opening and seals the glass or sliding window assembly into the body. The CAL-style design features a clean, smooth black exterior profile without the groove used for the factory chrome trim, eliminating the original decorative molding for a simple blacked-out appearance.
Original rear window seals commonly become hardened, cracked, shrunken, brittle, or deteriorated after decades of exposure to sunlight and weather. A failed rear window gasket can allow water to enter the cab, contribute to wind noise and drafts, and lead to corrosion around the rear window opening.
This reproduction restores the seal around the rear cab window while providing a clean CAL-style appearance without the factory chrome trim.
