Replacement rear window weatherstrip for 1979-1984 Volkswagen Mk1 Jetta models.
This seal installs around the rear windshield / back glass and replaces the original weatherstrip that commonly becomes hardened, cracked, shrunken, or deteriorated after decades of exposure to the elements.
Our CAL Style seal features a clean, smooth black appearance with no groove or provision for the factory window molding. It is an excellent choice for restorations or custom builds where the original decorative rear window trim will not be reused.

Important: This is a CAL Style rear window seal designed for use without the factory decorative window molding. It provides a smooth black appearance around the rear glass.
If retaining the original factory rear window molding, use the appropriate OEM Style rear window seal instead.
Installation Note:
Clean the glass and rear window opening thoroughly before installation. Inspect the window opening for corrosion, damaged paint, or previous sealant repairs before installing the new weatherstrip. Proper automotive glass installation procedures should be followed to ensure correct glass positioning and weatherstrip sealing.
