Replacement choke cable firewall grommet for Datsun 240Z and 260Z models equipped with the factory-style dual choke cable assembly.
This molded rubber grommet installs in the firewall where the choke cables pass from the passenger compartment into the engine compartment. It protects the choke cables from the edge of the firewall opening while helping seal the opening against water, dust, fumes, heat, and engine compartment noise.
Original choke cable grommets commonly become hardened, cracked, torn, shrunken, or completely missing after decades of heat and exposure.
