Replacement rubber accelerator / throttle linkage firewall boot for the Datsun 240Z, 260Z, and 280Z.
This molded rubber boot installs at the firewall where the accelerator / throttle linkage passes from the passenger compartment into the engine compartment. It seals the opening around the linkage and helps prevent water, dirt, fumes, heat, and engine-compartment debris from entering the cabin.
Original boots are commonly hardened, cracked, torn, or completely missing after decades of exposure.
