1970-1978 Datsun 240Z 260Z 280Z Rear Hatch Outer Body Seal Kit – 3 Piece
Three-piece rear hatch outer body weatherstrip kit for 2-seat Datsun 240Z, 260Z, and 280Z models. This kit reproduces the original multi-piece sealing arrangement installed around the upper and side portions of the rear hatch opening.
The kit consists of one upper weatherstrip and two side weatherstrips, providing the three pieces required to restore the original-style outer hatch sealing arrangement.
These seals install to the vehicle body around the rear hatch area and work with the remainder of the hatch weatherstripping system to help control water, dirt, wind, and debris around the hatch opening.
Original S30 hatch weatherstripping commonly becomes hardened, cracked, compressed, torn, shrunken, or completely deteriorated after decades of exposure to sunlight and weather. Replacing the deteriorated outer hatch seals restores the factory-style three-piece sealing arrangement and provides a finished appearance around the hatch opening.

Important: This is the three-piece OUTER rear hatch body seal kit consisting of one upper seal and two side seals.
It should not be confused with the separate main / inner rear hatch opening weatherstrip that mounts around the hatch-opening flange.
The separate inner hatch weatherstrip is referenced by Nissan OE number 76912-N4500 and is NOT included in this three-piece kit.
This kit should also not be confused with the rear hatch glass weatherstrip, which installs around the rear window glass itself.
