1970-1978 Datsun 240Z 260Z 280Z Rear Hatch Hinge Seal Pair
Replacement rear hatch hinge seal pair for 1970-1978 Datsun 240Z, 260Z, and 280Z 2-seater models.
These molded rubber seals install around the LH and RH rear hatch hinges where the hinges pass through the body at the rear roof panel. They seal the hinge openings and help prevent water from entering the roof structure and rear interior of the vehicle.
Original hatch hinge seals are frequently hardened, cracked, split, distorted, or completely missing after decades of exposure. Because of their location, deteriorated seals can allow water to enter around the hatch hinge openings, potentially contributing to moisture inside the vehicle and corrosion in the surrounding roof structure.
These reproduction seals are designed to replace the different factory versions used throughout S30 production, allowing one replacement pair to service applicable 240Z, 260Z, and 280Z models regardless of the original Nissan seal revision.
Each set includes one RH passenger-side seal and one LH driver-side seal for a complete vehicle.
