1974-1981 VW Dasher / Passat B1 Front Windshield Seal – OEM Style – Rounded Corners
OEM-style front windshield weatherstrip for Volkswagen Dasher and Passat B1 models equipped with the rounded-corner windshield seal configuration.
This molded windshield gasket installs around the perimeter of the front windshield glass and seals the glass into the body opening. The exterior profile includes the groove required for the factory metal windshield molding, allowing the original-style exterior trim to be retained.
Original Dasher and Passat B1 windshield seals commonly become hardened, cracked, shrunken, brittle, or deteriorated after decades of exposure to sunlight and weather. A failed windshield gasket can contribute to water intrusion, excessive wind noise, drafts, and corrosion around the windshield opening.
This reproduction restores the seal between the windshield glass and body while retaining the original grooved, factory-style windshield trim configuration.

Important: This reproduction is the ROUNDED-CORNER windshield seal.
Before ordering, inspect the windshield and existing weatherstrip configuration on the vehicle.
This seal will NOT fit vehicles using the sharp pointed / splice-molded corner windshield seal configuration.
This is the OEM Style / Grooved version and includes the exterior groove required for the factory-style metal windshield molding.
The original-style windshield molding can be retained and installed into the exterior groove.
This product should not be confused with the smooth, molding-delete windshield seal used on vehicles without exterior windshield trim.
