1970-1978 Datsun 240Z 260Z 280Z Outer Rear Quarter Glass Seal Pair
Replacement outer rear quarter glass weatherstrip pair for 2-seat Datsun 240Z, 260Z, and 280Z models. This kit includes both the LH driver-side and RH passenger-side outer quarter window seals required to complete one vehicle.
These seals install between the fixed rear quarter glass frame and the vehicle body, forming the outer portion of the quarter-window sealing system. They work together with the separate inner quarter glass seals to properly weather-seal the fixed quarter windows located behind the doors.
Original S30 quarter-window seals commonly become hardened, cracked, compressed, shrunken, brittle, or deteriorated after decades of exposure to sunlight and weather. Failed outer seals can allow water, wind, dirt, and debris to enter around the quarter-window frame and may contribute to corrosion in the surrounding body structure.
Replacing both outer seals is recommended whenever the quarter glass is removed for restoration, bodywork, or paint. For a complete quarter-window restoration, inspect and replace the separate inner quarter glass seals at the same time.

Important: These are the OUTER rear quarter glass seals for the fixed quarter windows located behind the doors.
The outer seals install between the quarter glass frame and the vehicle body. They should not be confused with the separate inner quarter glass seals, which seal the glass within the quarter-window assembly.
The complete quarter-window sealing system uses both the inner and outer sealing components.
The matching inner quarter glass seal pair is available separately.
These seals are intended for 2-seat S30 models only. They do NOT fit the longer-wheelbase 260Z or 280Z 2+2 models.
