Replacement rear hatch-to-body weatherstrip for 1979-1983 Datsun 280ZX and 1990-1996 Nissan 300ZX (Z32) models.
This reproduction weatherstrip installs around the rear hatch opening and seals the complete rear hatch against the body when closed. It helps prevent water, dust, exhaust fumes, and outside air from entering the rear cargo area while also helping reduce wind noise and hatch rattles.
Original hatch weatherstripping commonly becomes hardened, compressed, cracked, torn, or permanently flattened after decades of use. A deteriorated hatch seal can result in water intrusion, increased road and wind noise, dust entry, exhaust fumes, and poor sealing between the rear hatch and body.
This reproduction uses a cut-to-fit weatherstrip profile that has been verified to fit both the Datsun 280ZX (S130) and Nissan 300ZX (Z32), including 2-seater and 2+2 applications.

Important: This is the rear hatch-to-body weatherstrip that seals the complete rear hatch against the vehicle body.
It is not the rear hatch glass weatherstrip that seals the rear window glass into the hatch.
The original Nissan factory weatherstrips differed between the S130 280ZX and Z32 300ZX and also carried different factory part numbers depending on body configuration. This reproduction uses a cut-to-fit replacement profile that has been verified to service the applications listed above and should not be interpreted as indicating factory OE interchange between the S130 and Z32.
Carefully test-fit the weatherstrip around the complete hatch opening before making the final cut. Confirm the final length and joint location before trimming or permanently installing the seal.
