VW Mk1 Golf Jetta Caddy Scirocco Door Weatherstrip – Reproduction
Replacement door-mounted weatherstrip for Volkswagen Mk1 Golf, Rabbit, Jetta, Caddy / Rabbit Pickup, and Scirocco models. This reproduction seal mounts directly to the door and seals the perimeter of the door against the vehicle body when closed.
Designed as a versatile replacement for the original Volkswagen door weatherstripping, this reproduction can be used on both 2-door and 4-door applications. The same seal can be installed on the LH or RH side and, on applicable 4-door Golf / Rabbit and Jetta models, can be used on the front or rear doors.
Original door seals commonly become hardened, cracked, flattened, torn, shrunken, or brittle after decades of use. Deteriorated weatherstripping can contribute to water intrusion, wind noise, drafts, dust, and increased road noise inside the vehicle.
