VW Scirocco Mk1 / Cabriolet Outer Window Scraper – Cut-to-Fit
Replacement outer roll-up window scraper / beltline weatherstrip for Volkswagen Scirocco Mk1 and Golf Mk1 Cabriolet / Rabbit Convertible models. This scraper installs along the outside lower edge of the roll-up window glass and wipes against the glass as the window is raised and lowered.
The scraper features an internal metal reinforcement to help maintain its shape and prevent warping. This reproduction is supplied long so it can be trimmed to the required length for its specific installation position.
On Scirocco Mk1 models, this scraper can be used on either the LH / driver or RH / passenger front roll-up window.
On Cabriolet / Rabbit Convertible models, this scraper can be used on either the LH or RH front door window. It can also be used on the rear roll-up quarter windows, but MUST be cut / trimmed to the shorter rear-window length during installation.
Original window scrapers commonly become hardened, cracked, shrunken, distorted, or separated from their reinforcement after decades of exposure to sunlight and weather. A deteriorated outer scraper can allow excessive water, dust, and debris to enter the door or quarter-window cavity and may cause poor contact with the glass.

Important: This is the OUTER window scraper, which installs along the exterior side of the roll-up glass.
The same reproduction scraper can be used on either the LH or RH side.
For Cabriolet / Rabbit Convertible rear roll-up quarter windows, the scraper is intentionally supplied longer than required and MUST be cut / trimmed to the correct rear-window length during installation. Test-fit and mark the scraper before cutting.
For the interior side of the glass, use the corresponding Inner Window Scraper.
