1982-1992 VW Scirocco Mk2 Door Weatherstrip – LH or RH
Replacement main door perimeter weatherstrip for Volkswagen Scirocco Mk2 models. This seal installs around the door frame and seals the door against the vehicle body when closed.
Designed specifically for the Scirocco Mk2 / Type 53B door, this reproduction can be used on either the LH / driver side or RH / passenger side. One seal is required per door, or two seals are required to replace both sides of the vehicle.
Original Scirocco door seals commonly become hardened, cracked, flattened, torn, shrunken, or brittle after decades of compression and exposure to sunlight and weather. Deteriorated door weatherstripping can contribute to water intrusion, wind noise, drafts, dust, and increased road noise inside the passenger compartment.
Replacing the main door weatherstrip restores the seal between the door and body and helps provide a quieter, drier interior.

Important: This is the main door perimeter weatherstrip. It seals the complete door against the vehicle body and should not be confused with the separate window scraper, glass run channel, upper window seal, or other door glass weatherstripping.
The same seal is used on either the LH / driver side or RH / passenger side.
Due to normal manufacturing tolerances, the reproduction may be supplied slightly longer than required. Test-fit the complete seal before installation and trim any excess length as necessary for proper fitment.
