VW Mk1 Upper Door Rain Gutter Deflector Seal – 110-Inch Cut-to-Fit Pair
Universal replacement upper door rain gutter / wind deflector seal for Volkswagen Mk1 models. This weatherstrip runs along the upper door area and helps direct rainwater and airflow away from the door opening.
Volkswagen originally used a reinforced upper door gutter seal in this location. This replacement uses an all-rubber design, eliminating the internal metal reinforcement while retaining the weather-deflecting function of the original upper door seal.
The material is supplied as one continuous 110-inch length, providing enough weatherstrip to complete both sides of the vehicle. Simply measure, test-fit, and cut the material to the required length for each side during installation.
Original upper door gutter seals commonly become hardened, cracked, distorted, separated, or deteriorated with age. Metal-reinforced originals can also suffer from internal corrosion and deformation, preventing the seal from sitting correctly along the upper door opening.
Replacing deteriorated gutter seals helps restore proper water management around the upper door area and provides a clean finished edge along the roof and door opening.

Important: This is an aftermarket universal Mk1 replacement supplied as one continuous length. It is not a molded, side-specific reproduction of the original VW upper door seals.
The original Volkswagen design used metal reinforcement. This replacement is manufactured entirely from rubber and does not contain the original internal metal reinforcement.
The supplied 110-inch length is enough material for both sides of the vehicle. Measure and test-fit each side before making the final cuts.
